Born on Banks Peninsula

Inspired by the rugged coast lines of New Zealand's wild Banks Peninsula, Tumbledown is a collection of linen for the home.

Our range is natural and effortlessly beautiful, yet comfortable and inviting. We believe in celebrating the simple things in life: a slower pace, time with loved ones, morning light, and being tucked up with a good book and a cup of tea in clean and crisp sheets.

Through sustainable manufacturing and high quality materials, Tumbledown upgrades your bed to first class.

Tumbledown was founded in 2020 by Lucy Brown, in the seaside suburb of Sumner, New Zealand.

Our Linen

Tumbledown uses premium quality European-grown and manufactured linen. Linen is a sustainable product made from renewable flax fibre.

Linen has been made and used by people for more than 10,000 years, with the first evidence of its use dating back to 8,000 BC. There are many reasons for its timelessness: it's strong, sustainable, and unbeatable when it comes to comfort. Plus, linen is a breeze to wash and dries faster than cotton.

Our linen is OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it is absent of allergenic dyes, pesticides, or heavy metals. It's also highly breathable, moisture wicking, naturally hypoallergenic, and therefore less likely to aggravate allergies. Finally, our linen is stone-washed for unbeatable softness.

The Tumbledown range is proudly designed in New Zealand.
